Great looking environment, very open and bright, but uncomfortable seating! “Booths” are very large wooden benches that are way too big when you sit, to the point where you are too far from the table. It was a U Shape, so the three of us sat around it leaving one side open, where when the next group was seated, we were open facing them and they were facing us. We then looked like one big table sitting together! Kind of weird, but we chatted with them some, wasn’t a big deal, but do not go if you want privacy. Excellent service! Our waiter was on top of it! He shared what he thought was good, even though he mentioned all the most expensive choices. He was attentive and quick, but we also didn’t require anything extra. He was very friendly. Food…. not great for the price (1 plate and water-with tax and tip- $40). IT WAS ALL COLD!!! I ordered the salmon which had a wonderful flavor, but I asked for it to be medium rare. I even said I would not be happy if it wasn’t…. and it was not MR. It was OVERCOOKED and dry. My friend ordered it too, and her piece was very thin and did not look good, so I got the better cut for sure, but was still disappointing! The potatoes too were dry and had no flavor, but I actually needed flavorless for the spicy green beans. Had I known they were spicy to begin with, fine, but it was a choking surprise. So I was thankful for the potatoes to level them out. The beans though did have a nice flavor under the spice. But they were SUPER COLD!! In fact, the entire plate was cold and dry! We didn’t have to wait long at all! The food came real quick. So much so, that It made me wonder how much of this food is precooked and prepped ahead?? Was this NOT COOKED TO ORDER???! I don’t know, and can’t make assumptions, but food was not a fav and was disappointing! -Dry and cold with good flavor!

My first time in Savannah a couple weeks ago and this spot did not disappoint. Visited for brunch and was met with such a pleasant experience on the balcony/patio area. Our waitress Destiny was so kind and thoughtful. I wanted to order the shrimp and grits but to swap it out for salmon and she made the switch super easy for me. It was so delicious and was worth it! Great customer service! My cocktail was very refreshing!

The Grove Savannah rooftop was nice. While the tables were a bit lower than we preferred, the food was outstanding. We also appreciated the chance to chat with the restaurant manager, who was warm, welcoming, and attentive to our experience. Our waitress, however, was not as attentive as we would have liked, leaving us to manage on our own for the most part. Despite that, we still had an enjoyable time.

We decided to do an Appetizer tour in the mid afternoon and thankfully we ended up here! Outstanding service, music and cocktails! “We ate up on the rooftop patio and Mary was fun and on top of it”. The Cajun Angels were AMAZING! Charcuterie was full of delicious cheeses and meats. Headed back there tomorrow for our last Day in Savannah.

Server was great. She was super friendly. She was the best server I ever had! I believe her name was Amber! Shout out to her. Food was amazing and THE DESSERT… wow! 10/10.

Welcome to The Grove Savannah, a charming culinary destination nestled in the heart of Savannah, Georgia. Located at 301 W Congress St, this establishment aims to offer guests a picturesque dining experience, characterized by an open and bright environment. With its inviting atmosphere and vibrant rooftop patio, The Grove Savannah is perfect for both leisurely brunches and evening gatherings.

One of the first things that strikes you as you enter is the spacious design. However, as noted by some guests, the unique U-shaped booths can feel a bit oversized, creating an unusual communal dining experience where privacy might be sacrificed. While this setup encourages conversation, it’s not the ideal choice for those seeking a more intimate dining atmosphere.

Despite mixed reviews on the seating arrangements, the quality of service shines through. The staff, including attentive waiters like Destiny, make it a priority to ensure your dining experience is enjoyable. From cocktails to cuisine, the servers are ready to assist with menu selections, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm for the offerings at The Grove Savannah.

However, as some guests have pointed out, the culinary execution can sometimes fall short of expectations. One diner highlighted inconsistency in their dish, describing the salmon as overcooked despite a specific request for a medium-rare preparation. This contrasts with others who praised dishes like the shrimp and grits, showcasing a menu that has its high points alongside areas for improvement.

For those keen on unique beverages, don't miss the adult Capri Sun—a playful twist that guests have eagerly recommended. The atmosphere is further enhanced by live music, especially enjoyed on the rooftop, making it a vibrant place to unwind.

Despite some hiccups, The Grove Savannah remains a worthwhile destination with its delicious charcuterie selections and standout appetizers like the Cajun Angels. Whether you're in the mood for refreshing cocktails or enticing small plates, this establishment is poised to deliver an experience worth repeating. Embrace the charm of Savannah and make a stop at The Grove Savannah; it’s a place that promises delightful moments, even with some room for culinary refinement.
